The tribe also operates three Class III Four Winds Casinos in Michigan in New Buffalo, Hartford and Dowagiac. The South Bend location opened in 2018 offering Class II bingo games. The expansion follows approval of a Class III gaming compact with the state of Indiana in 2021, which allowed the tribe to add slot machines and table games, as Tribal Business News previously reported.
